This is the Creation story, overview version. Chapter 1 Verse 2 says that “the Spirit of God was moving”… Some have related this to John 1:1. (proving Jesus (the Word) was present at creation. When I read the commentary, and notes on Gen 1:1, it sure reads to me like its the Spirit (as in Holy Spirit).

Gen 1:26 Let us make… I agree with the notes on this..God was refering to the heavenly beings, not neccesarily the Godhead.

Gen 2:4 Interesting note here. I even eluded to it above.
