Acronymopedia

I’m going to start a new section on this blog, basically trying to sort through all of the acronyms I run across in technology. The title of these (presumably short) posts will begin with the phrase I seem to have just coined; Acronymopedia, and then the acronym I intend to clarify.

There are many many lists of acronyms available on the internet. What I hope will make these posts a little better, is to also include some information about the acronym, describing how, when, why its used, more like an encyclopedia, hence the name, acronymopedia.
